Weekend masala
Took off to Bangalore over the weekend to meet Akshay,Krishna, Chetana, Kesavan and Sun. Quite the unexpected bus trip it was. Although it was a supposed KSRTC semi-sleeper, didnt quite manage to induce even the half sleep it promised. Groggy, we landed in the bus stop the next morning where our highness wanted her bed coffee while i waited to brush my teeth. ( No sense of hygiene i must say!) where we waited for (1/2 hr) for Krishna and Akshay to pick us up.
They drove in finally. Hadnt met either of them before. Looked quite the same as in the pics i had seen of them. Was especially nice to hear them talk to each other in Kannada. Been soooooooo long!
Drove arnd to find a place to breakfast while Sun promised to come. Took us all by surprise when she finally made her appearance. Washed hair, bindi on her forehead and in a semi salwar suit (you had to see her to understand what i mean), she had made her usual Saturday trip to meet Vinayak :d . Quite a change from the casual jeans n tee. Very pretty she looked indeed.
Did some random arbit yaking at Krishna's place till 11 when i had to take off to meet a friend of mine at Forum. Nothing special there.
Lunch at 2 as requested by Akshay. Met Chetana for the first time then. Quite different from the pics i had seen of her. Back to business. Gorged on conti Lasagna and Macaroni but turned out too much for even Sun and me to handle.
Took off to shop for books with Sun to Brigade road at 5 in the evening. Sri was stuck with a terrible headache. I didnt mind that anyway :d. Didnt know i had such a soft corner for books. Turned out i bought more than i cud handle (in monetary terms) also coz i realised i had a very soft corner for clothes! Sale of Branded clothes at 1/10 th the prices! I almost screamed...No guess what i did next. Pampared myself with a pair of comfy jeans for Rs 150! Abercrombie and Fitch.
Sun and i caught up for about an hour and half over coffee yaking about everything under the sun, from guys to gals to books. Good fun that was.
Bus at 10. Returned to base at 7 in the morning and crashed and how! Woke up only at 11.30 when Sri called again to inform me about meeting PV over lunch. Quite impossible that was coz work was going on at home and i cudnt leave mom alone. Very sweetly she resheduled for me. Met up with PV, Mithila (very very sweet woman i think she is :), Smrithi, Badri, Sudh (erm...) and Sri over what we would call supper. PV turned out to be quite quiet compared to the chatty one i remembered from the conferences. An hour there and we took off to drop people off before our contentious Srirangam trip was to be made...Well,now im in a movie watching mood...will update trow...

u lazy *** talking about hygiene?? I never slept to have my bedcoffee it was instead bus-tea :( i had to stay awake all nite to see u girls reached bangy safely !
