The woods are lovely......

Happy musings...College days were totally good fun. It's only when it passes you by that u realise how much it meant to you for all the cribbing u did when you were there.
I must pen down my memories of college, not all but the few that i cherish the most.
I was the notorious one in college! Known to every prof ( that could be dangerous in a a lot of ways!). Easy to spot (erm..they knew my name!)...It had to do with the fact that i was captain of my college volleyball team and table tennis team. Well, no more volleyball and TT for me now! I used to get pulled up for anything that used to happen in class. Had the privilege of having at least one prof hate me every sem! EVERY SEM!!!
I still have no idea what i did wrong.... Maybe the fact that i used to sleep in class...well, i kinda used to doze away oblivious to everything or stare out of the window wishing i were anywhere else but here :) The feeling showed i guess :d
Couple of incidents i vividly remember...
We had a male lecturer teaching us circuit analysis, the extent of his knowledge of the subject just as good or maybe worse than mine! He was the kinds who was taking a break from studying, the kinds who just finish studying and try their hand at teaching but are bad at it and in the hope of making it thru to studying further...hope you get the drift...A young chap of arnd 24-25, he thought of himself as the stud of the college. And here i was looking at every opportunity to snub him....Turns out he got himself an admit to do his masters in some univ in the US of A...'twas his last day in college and he was bidding his goodbyes to all his collegues....Our gang wasthe kinds looking to get out of college at any given opportunity.... walking out real fast , met him on the way and he in his deep voice went " i got my visa and i'm going to New York to do my masters " ..pause and yours truly went " Thank you sir! "... :d that was probabaly the worse thing i could have said to him...stiffled laughters everywhere and he didnt get anything!!! pretty dumb for all that he was!!! And to this day my friend thinks that was the best thing that could have ever happened to him :d
I ve done unthinkable things in college- laughed on the face of a math lecturer when he came in his dark shades coz he was suffering from conjunctivits, put my head down on the desk and dozed off sitting on the aisle in probably the second row of class, bunked class claiming to have volleyball practise when we had no tournaments, ...college was indeed good fun.
And now its been a year since ive finished and i miss college a lot. But there's more to life , better days ahead, more happy memories, new place and new people.
The woods ARE lovely dark and deep
but i have miles to go before i sleep....
College and school days were just unbelievable pedestals to give me the jumpstart to what i want to do in life...erm..i have no idea what!!! :d..i might just figure that out in B-School....
